Futuro MMXXVI · Mexico City, Mexico · Emerging Leader

Lourdes Prince Zepeda, a pedagoga and student at the Universidad Panamericana, joined the ecosystem through the Author × AI MMXXVI cohort in Mexico City. she is building an app for migrants in the United States with four pillars: a plain-language guide to migrant rights across detention, healthcare, shelter, and work; an opt-in story-based data layer designed to surface why and how people migrate; a directory of shelters and legal aid matched by AI to the user's situation; and an anonymous community space where migrants can speak with others living parallel circumstances. The project launches in English and Spanish, scoped first to the United States, with privacy and consent treated as the first design constraint.
