Phillip Mercier

Phillip Mercier joined the ecosystem through the Author × AI MMXXVI cohort in Mexico City. He is building a fitness platform that aggregates activity data from existing services (Strava, Garmin, Apple Watch, and similar) into a single application, then layers a multi-sport community on top: rankings by city, state, and discipline; live visibility of who is running, cycling, swimming, or hiking nearby; and travel-aware groups so that users visiting a new city can find local people to train with. His thesis is that most fitness apps silo users inside one discipline, and that surfacing the breadth of what others are doing nearby is itself the activation mechanism.
