Luis Gerardo Cárdenas Reyes — known as Jerry — operates at the intersection of advanced engineering and institutional leadership. He serves on the technology team at Colgate-Palmolive's Mexico City office, where he contributes to one of the most operationally complex multinational corporations in consumer goods. His technical practice spans mechatronics, computer engineering, artificial intelligence systems, and robotics — disciplines he applies both in the corporate environment and across the legacy projects he leads. Jerry holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Panamericana, an institution that, in recent years, has produced a generation of project authors entering the BeNeXT ecosystem. He entered as a project author through the Futuro MMXXV cohort at Georgetown University. He now serves as Executive Director of Arkah, the institution that builds owned platform infrastructure for organizations operating across the Americas. Arkah was born from real deployments for hemispheric institutions — not theoretical frameworks or venture-backed speculation — and its conviction is straightforward: institutions designed to outlast every technology cycle must build on foundations they own, not rent. Jerry's two flagship legacy projects reflect the breadth of his work outside the corporate environment: one applies robotics, AI, and drone technology to the cleanup of contaminated lakes across Latin America, addressing environmental degradation at hemispheric scale; the other, developed in collaboration with fellow alumna Stephanie Segura León, focuses on education reform in Mexico. That an engineer of Jerry's caliber leads both a technology practice at a global consumer-goods corporation and an arch institution of the BeNeXT ecosystem — simultaneously, from Mexico City — is not a coincidence of biography. It is the design working as intended.
